Thrill to the world's most epic screenshot of a dramatic moment in our Hagara heroic kill! The ice phase was easy. Run in circles screaming? We got that covered. But the lightning phase was an annoyance and a half until suddenly we had it. You can see from the shot our perfect positioning and the grace and artistry of the kill.

The mount isn't the only thing that Deathwing gave us this week: he also yielded a fragment of his gigantic jaw. Mikayshen didn't get the mount, but he did get the most disturbing pair of daggers I have ever seen: Golad and Tiriosh. When he invites you to zoom in and look at the tentacles, don't.

Well, hey, look what Deathwing dropped this week! Congratulations to Serix on the stylish new Blazing Drake! We especially congratulate you for beating Mikayshen on the roll for a rare mount drop, which nobody has been able to do for ages.

Last Thursday we were short-handed at raid time, so we trooped back to Bastion of Twilight and put in some work on the two fights we hadn't managed to get on heroic back in T11. Even short-handed we drove heroic Twilight Council to 5%. We decided to come back with the full 10 and get them down, and move on to the easier heroic Cho'gall fight.

You'll never guess what Cho'gall did. Yup, he fell through the floor. How curious! I wonder what's in this place? Maybe another boss? The extended lockout will give us a chance to find out.

The plan was to put in an hour of work on heroic Zon'ozz and then go on for the full clear. HA! We knew from the first pull of the night that Mr Tentacles was going to be our next heroic-mode kill, and that we'd get him that night. And so we did!

Next up: Hagara.

Left over from January: our first kill of heroic Ultraxion. Our second kill looked a lot better.

We were very close to the edge a couple of times there: watch Crux's health display for some heart attacks.

We put a lot of work into this kill, with some heartbreaking wipes. What finally did it for us was Jaxxom bringing in Krashy & Xyri bringing in Xaveus. Arms warrior bladestr0mz & shaman healing rains for the kill!

It was a nearly perfect kill, too. Probably the most satisfying of the tier thus far.

Our Wednesday night fishing party got us over the last 700 fish needed for the feast recipe. Thanks go out to everybody who fished from pools over the last year. I know Jaxxom, Serix, and Ganima did a lot of fishing to get us close to the magic 10,000. Now we need never fish again.

Heroic Morchok, dead on the first night of the next lockout. Next?

Watch as I nearly botch a pull at the really boring second platform, but fail in my attempt to scuttle the kill!

After a series of frustrating wipes below 5%, caused by things like disconnects & client crashes, we finally pulled out the kill we've been right next to since the very first lockout. Grats to all the Storm guildies who got their shiny new titles! We'll start getting everybody those titles next.

The last thing of note we did in Firelands was complete Medahni's legendary staff. The staff then proceeded to curse us to constant disconnections and silly wipes on our last week in Firelands. We hope that it'll be good luck instead of bad in Dragon Soul.

Can you say 7/8 Dragonsoul? Sure you can! Three nights of raiding into patch 4.3 and we're staring down Deathwing himself already. Check the T13 killshot gallery for photos of the usual lunkheads standing in front of dead bosses and/or their loot chests.

Storm, you've just cleared 6/7 heroic modes. What are you going to do now?

Get the Firelands achievement birds and ride them to Disneyland, of course!

Baleroc heroic dead! The kill was considerably more graceful than our first kill of him on normal. Not only did we have everybody in the raid alive at the end, we beat the enrage time. And then the very next night:

Attercop! Attercop! Beth'tilac flamed out.

Now all that's left is heroic Ragnaros. I hear that encounter is a pushover. Right?

Heroic Rhyolith died Tuesday night, but he was sort of boring. We knew we were going to kill him because we'd already put in some work on him. He doesn't deserve a news post. You know what does? Alysrazor.

Alysrazor heroic is down in a ridiculous and amazing kill. At 20% left, it was a wipe in progress thanks to a botched firestorm. But Medahni and Xyrï were still alive in the air, and they stayed alive through a firestorm phase. Thank you Iceblock and Dispersion! Alys's health ticked down while the rest of the raid watched from the floor. That last 5% seemed to take forever but it went, and we're now 4/7 heroic in Firelands.

Next week's kill will be way less stressful, we swear.

The no-scythe strategy worked out very well for us with Mr Bring Me Heroic Morrowgrain. He turned into a scorpion but didn't manage to swipe his little clawses at anybody. And his flame kitty tricks didn't help him either.
